Re: Politics at Moogfest
FWIW a link on the facebook page for Moogfest likely has nothing to do with Moog Music. Moogfest is being run by AC Entertainment and there's a good possibility that the facebook page is being run by someone who doesn't even own Moog gear.

Re:
I heard that the Doepfer FS suffers from bleedthrough. Analogue Systems of Great Britian offers a new FS that is faithful to the original Moog/Bode design. The Doepfer FS has horrible bleedthrough that makes it almost unusable. THE AS FS is said to be great but it's appropriately pricey. There's al...

Re: Phatty plus ONE module Holy COW!
+1 on the MATHS! I've got two in my modular. If you're interested in the many things it can be used for you should check out the manual. You should also check out the other products from Make Noise. I'm currently beta testing the Rene sequencer. This combo with the Voyager/LP is amazing to work with!

Joe Bonamassa/Royal Albert Hall Theremin
I get the feeling this has been posted before but I just caught the show on PBS (2009 w/ Eric Clapton appearance). There's a Moog Theremin right there on stage to his left! I didn't see it used but I assume there's a good portion of this not shown of public television.

Yeah MC, I can hear you playing both at once during the solo's! Double fisted Moog action FTW!LivePsy wrote:They are both played at once.

Re: CV scale problem - what will fix it?
Cool. Where are these trim pots located? Will input from the MIDI port and keyboard still be properly scaled if this is adjusted? The trimmers are surface mount so they should be installed by Moog technicians whom can also properly tune it. I believe they'll do it for a reasonable fee. The MIDI and...

Re: CV scale problem - what will fix it?
The LP Stage I & II's CV input can be made V/Oct with the addition of several trim pots and some tuning. The Voyager's CV input is not V/Oct as well but can be modded like the LP (Note: the VX-352 is set to V/Oct when used with the RME). Both the Voyager and the LP are V/Oct from the KB, and as ...

Re: Official gate voltage limit?
5v max. Huh? The gate input needs roughly a sharp edged (i.e. square) 5V minimum input to trigger the envelopes. The Doepfer gates shouldn't do any damage. I haven't had any major problems so far interfacing my Voyager and Euro/Doepfer modular. As far as CV's are concerned just remember that some C...

Re: Strange problem
All black keys are ok. The white keys in the rightmost octave are ok All other white keys (except for 3-4) are "double" I have transposed the keyboard and what was playing "double" moved to the first octave and it plays fine. :? :( Then it's likely that it isn't a keyboard/hardw...
