What mixers do you guys use?
I've been doing the whole "plug in/unplug" thing for a while now with all my gear into my fastrack pro to my computer.... but i've gotten quite sick of it.. and the sound quality isn't always the greatest... So i've thought to get a mixer.. I've been looking around and I'm heading towards ...

Re: USB midi controller
Does it make any difference if you plug in a keyboard to the the SP thru the USB instead of midi? Im probably not going to be using pads or sliders, ive been told the SP is set up very well so that I probably wouldn't want to. Using the pads and sliders for the SP, sure, sounds kind of redundant......

Re: Guitar Stompbox Pedals with Voyager
EXH does very well with Moog gear. I wish that I could have spent more time with the Graphic Fuzz in he Voyager's fx loop. THe ELectric Mistress works great, Ive run my Mirco through it before. Rocktron Banshee Talkbox is perfect, if you want to go that route. Eric Ditto on the Banshee Talkbox.. wo...

Re: keyboard / MIDI controller for SP
I just picked up a M-Audio Axiom49 MKII, Contrary to M-Audio's reputation for less than awesome build quality/bad keys, I am absolutely loving it and think it will be a great fit when my SP comes in. I have the original version axiom 49, and though I don't use it for my RME, I do use it for my Nord...

Re: Korg MicroKorg as keyboard controller for SP
As a matter of note, I do happen to like the keys, if for no other reason than the fact that you don't find this type on many other boards these days...the "softness" and/or "flimsiness" does offer benefits in SOME (not all) melody line runs... : I do agree that the smallness an...

Re: Korg MicroKorg as keyboard controller for SP
Yeah, the microkorg will function.. it's keys and mod wheels should function ok... it's only... playing on those tiny plastic springy keys would kill me.. especially when trying anything difficult. I'm not a huge fan of the microkorg anyway (though it was my first synth, bought when it was first int...

Re: Korg MicroKorg as keyboard controller for SP
It would work. Yes.
I'm exercising a lot of restraint right now though. I really want to tell you to get a better controller. Oops.

Re: Is it possible to initialize a patch?
never really thought of wether or not there was a way to do it through the OS...
I always just turn 1 osc off, reset the filter and envelope controlls to the beginning manually... than start new... the controls are so intuitive it only takes a few seconds usually.

Re: slim or little phatty? what would you choose?
I agree with the Little Phatty... They are basically the exact same synth.. Except the Little Phatty has the keyboard, mod and pitch wheels.. more hardware etc... If your going by MSRP, yes they are more pricy. But you can still find very mint, like new used LP's for 800$ on Ebay and forums... Where...

Re: Slim & Little
The SEM's do sound great.. if I end up wanting another standalone monophonic synth, that will be the one I grab. But right now I'm still kind of hooked on the idea of building a poly. I'm just waiting for those video's Amos said they'd put together to show off the polychaining features of the LP and...

Re: Slim & Little
Show off !! (just kidding) Can you tell me (assuming this is your serial #0002 compensation for doing the manual and not just a picture you snapped at MoogFest) if the new OS has a true keyboard split feature, or is it the same quirky Poly function. I'm pretty close to pulling the trigger on one of...
